Ingredients
- 9 c tomatoes – skinned, cored and chopped
- 2 1/2 c green peppers – chopped
- 1/4 c jalapeños – remove seeds and ribs – chopped
- 2 1/2 c white onion – chopped
- 8 cloves garlic – minced
- 12 oz can tomato paste
- 1 c white vinegar
- 1 t ground cumin
- 6 t salt
- 1 t pepper
- 2 t oregano
- 1/2 t cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Combine the ingredients into a heavy bottom stock pot
- Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer for 30 minutes
- Ladle into clean pint jars for processing (water bath 20 minutes)
